GUIDELINES FOR THE DIANE RABON HOMELESS ANIMALS FUND
- The staff at Family PetCare have the authority to determine whether or not treatment is needed;
- Any animal, regardless of type, that the staff determines needs to be treated will be attended to;
- Definition of need is: homeless, lost or pet that the expense will be too much for owners to cover completely;
- In determining care, the quality of the animal’s life is the most important issue;
- Heroic measures should be taken only if they are in the best interest of the animal;
- Any expenditure on one animal that is over $500.00 must be approved by either Dr. Tim Morton or Carol Eicher;
- Carol Eicher, fund administrator, gives all authority for any actions taken to the staff at Family PetCare.
